Dear Valued Patients,

We hope this letter finds you safe and well.  As we return to work and adjust to the “new normal”, we wanted to update you on changes the office has made for our Hygiene Department in response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.  Our office has implemented the recommended guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  Among changes that address infection control and social distancing, you may see the following in our effort to reduce the production of aerosols.

Hygiene Appointments

• Hand instruments in favor of ultrasonic scaling instruments for debridement
• No water scaler or polishing
• Pre-rinsing with an antibacterial mouth rinse prior to treatment
• Limited examinations

Office Policies

• Strict adherence to a 24-hour appointment cancellation policy
• Please arrive on time
